01 / Power up

First, find your power.

A few simple steps and you'll be ready to shine.

USB connector in the coat zipper pocket

Coats & jackets

  1. Find the USB connector in the zipper pocket.
  2. Connect a 5V USB-A power bank (sold separately), switch it on, and glow.
Accessory charging with the included cable

Accessories

RechargeablePlug the included USB cable into the charging port in the zipper pocket. A full 2-hour charge gives about 2–4 hours of glow.
Battery operatedFind the battery pack in the zipper pocket, insert batteries (AA or AAA, see your product page), and press power on.

Coats & jackets: use a 5V USB-A power bank. Never plug into a wall outlet or wall charger. Wall power can permanently damage the LEDs.

Rechargeable accessories: use only the included cable. Fast-charging cables can damage the lights.

Expect about 4–6 hours of glow per charge with a good power bank. Higher capacity = longer glow, so bring a backup if you're going till sunrise. Using your own? Trusted brands like Anker are a safe bet; read reviews and test it at home first. Shop power banks →

03 / Care

Care for the magic.

A little care goes a long way. Keep your SugarFur looking and glowing its best.

Spot clean only

No washing machine or dryer, ever. Damp cloth and gentle detergent, then air dry fully before use.

Unplug before cleaning

Remove all power before spot cleaning. Never clean while it's powered on.

Store carefully

Loosely, in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Don't wrap wires tightly or crush the LED strips.

Keep it fresh

Unplug when not in use to protect the electronics. Avoid sharp objects and rough surfaces that can snag fur or wiring.

04 / Safety

Shine responsibly.

Please read before your first night out.

  • Not waterproof. Avoid rain, snow, and all liquids. If it gets damp, disconnect power and let it dry fully.
  • Keep away from heat & flames. Faux fur is heat-sensitive.
  • Never use a wall outlet or wall charger. Power banks only.
  • Use only recommended power sources from reputable, certified brands.
  • Don't sleep in powered-on items or leave them running unattended.
  • Never charge a power bank while you're wearing the garment.
  • Not for children under 13. Adult supervision required.
  • Light sensitivity notice: LED lighting may not be suitable for people with photosensitivity conditions.
  • Stop using it if LEDs are damaged or flicker abnormally, or if a battery feels hot, swollen, or smells unusual.
