We currently ship to 24 countries across Europe, Asia, Oceania, and North America:

⏱️ Shipping Times
All international orders ship from Los Angeles via DHL Express or UPS with full tracking. Processing takes 2–4 business days, then:

Times are estimates and may vary due to customs processing or carrier delays beyond our control. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and carrier.
💸 Customs, Duties & Taxes
This is the most important section — please read 💕
Import duties, customs fees, VAT/GST, and brokerage charges are the customer's responsibility. These charges are not included in your product price or shipping cost at checkout.
We're not hiding this — we just genuinely can't collect or predict them for you. Here's why.
Who sets these fees?
Your country's customs authority — not SugarFur. They vary wildly depending on where you live, what's in your package, and current trade regulations. A coat shipped to Germany might have completely different duties than the same coat shipped to Australia.
Who collects them?
Your local courier (DHL or UPS). They'll typically contact you by email, text, or phone before delivery to collect payment. Paying promptly helps your package arrive faster.
How much will it cost?
Honestly? We can't tell you exactly — and anyone who says they can is guessing. As a rough ballpark across our top markets:
- UK & EU: Typically 20–25% VAT + any duty (usually 12% on apparel)
- Canada: GST/HST (5–15% depending on province) + duty
- Australia: 10% GST on orders over AUD $1,000; smaller orders often pass through
- Japan & Korea: Usually 8–10% consumption tax + duty
For the most accurate estimate, search "[your country] import duties on apparel" before you order.
Can I refuse the package to avoid paying?
No — and please don't try. Refusing the package doesn't cancel the duties. You'll be responsible for both the original shipping cost AND return shipping fees, plus any duties already incurred. It ends up costing more than just paying the duties in the first place.

📦 What to Expect After You Order
Here's the full international journey, start to finish, so there are no surprises:
Order placed & confirmed
You'll get an email confirmation from us right away, with a note about customs fees.
Processing (2–4 business days)
We pack every order by hand with care. During launches or peak festival season, this may take a little longer — we'll let you know.
Shipped with tracking
You'll get a shipping confirmation email with your DHL or UPS tracking number and a friendly reminder about customs.
Customs clearance in your country
Your courier handles paperwork with your country's customs authority. This is where duties and taxes are calculated.
Courier contacts you for fees
DHL or UPS will reach out — usually by email, text, or phone — to collect payment before final delivery.

🔄 International Returns
At this time, all international orders are final sale. We don't accept returns or exchanges on international shipments — as a small business, the return shipping and customs costs are too high to support right now.
What's still covered
- Damaged in transit: If you purchased shipping insurance, file a claim through the provider listed at checkout.
- Manufacturing defects: Email hello@sugarfur.com within 7 days of delivery with clear photos. We'll review each case individually and figure out the best resolution.

- Sizing: Check the size guide on each product page carefully. When in doubt, size up — our coats are designed oversized.

❓ International FAQ
My country isn't on your list — can I still order?
Probably yes! Shipping rates for unlisted countries can often be calculated at checkout. If you run into issues, DM us @sugarfurco or email hello@sugarfur.com and we'll figure out a custom quote.
Why can't you just include duties in the price at checkout?
Great question! Some large retailers (like Amazon) offer this via a service called DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — but it requires paying duties upfront for every country, which carries real risk as a small business. If rates change or customs flags something, we'd be stuck with the bill. We'd rather keep our product prices lower and be transparent about duties than mark everything up by 20–30% to cover worst-case scenarios.
Will my order arrive in time for my festival?
International orders can take 10–16 business days plus customs processing — so for international festivals like Tomorrowland, Awakenings, or Rainbow Serpent, we recommend ordering at least 4 weeks in advance. If you have a hard deadline, email us before ordering and we'll help you figure out what's realistic.
What happens if my package gets stuck in customs?
This occasionally happens when customs needs more info. Your courier will usually contact you to request documentation. If they ask for anything from us (commercial invoice, HS codes, product description), email hello@sugarfur.com and we'll send it within 1–2 business days.
Do you offer shipping insurance for international orders?
Yes! We offer optional shipping protection at checkout and strongly recommend purchasing it for international orders. It covers lost, stolen, or damaged packages during transit. If you decline insurance, SugarFur is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged.
Can I track my international order?
Absolutely. All international orders ship with full DHL or UPS tracking. You'll receive a tracking number in your shipping confirmation email — click the link to follow your package door-to-door.
Do your coats work on European voltage / overseas power banks?
Yes! Our LEDs run off a standard 5V USB-A power bank, which is universal — any power bank rated 5V/10,000mAh+ will work anywhere in the world. No voltage conversion or adapters needed since the power bank itself handles everything. 🌍✨
Will my warranty be honored internationally?
Yes. Manufacturing defects are covered worldwide for 7 days after delivery. If something goes wrong, email us with photos and we'll figure out the best resolution case-by-case.
