LED Light Safety
- SugarFur garments contain integrated LED lighting designed for decorative and visual effect purposes only — not safety, emergency, or visibility equipment
- LEDs operate on low-voltage power supplied via USB battery packs
- Never alter, cut, crush, splice, or modify LED components or wiring in any way
- Do not wear while sleeping or while unattended
- Not suitable for unsupervised use by children — adult supervision required at all times
- If LEDs appear damaged, flickering abnormally, or stop functioning, discontinue use immediately
- SugarFur assumes no liability for injury or property damage resulting from misuse, modification, or failure to follow these guidelines
Battery Pack Information
Some SugarFur items may include a small battery pack for brief testing only. For regular wear, use your own high-quality battery pack.

- Use only reputable, quality-certified battery packs (e.g., Anker or equivalent)
- Low-quality batteries may overheat, underperform, or pose a safety risk — use at your own discretion
- SugarFur is not responsible for any damage, malfunction, or injury caused by third-party battery packs
- Battery packs are used entirely at the customer's own risk
Slim, lightweight designs are recommended for comfort during wear. Heavier packs may affect wearability.
Charging & Power
- Always use a certified USB charger meeting applicable safety standards
- Do not overcharge battery packs — unplug once fully charged
- Disconnect the battery pack from the garment when not in active use
- Never charge the battery while wearing the garment
- Keep battery packs away from extreme heat, direct sunlight, and flammable materials
- If a battery feels hot, swollen, leaking, or emits an unusual odor — stop use immediately and dispose of safely per local regulations
Water & Weather
- SugarFur LED garments are not waterproof or water-resistant
- Do not wear in rain, pools, hot tubs, or during heavy perspiration
- If the garment becomes damp, disconnect the battery immediately
- Allow the garment to dry fully before reconnecting power or storing
- Water damage is not covered under any warranty. SugarFur accepts no liability for water-related damage or malfunction
Care & Handling
- Spot clean only — damp cloth, gentle detergent, air dry completely
- Disconnect and remove all power before cleaning
- Do not machine wash or tumble dry
- Do not wring, twist, crush, or fold tightly — this may damage LED wiring or faux fur fibers
- Store loosely in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heavy objects
These pieces are handmade and built to last when treated with care. Damage from improper washing or storage is not covered under warranty.

- Battery packs — whether included or customer-supplied — are used entirely at the customer's own risk. SugarFur is not responsible for any damage or injury caused by battery packs.
- These terms do not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
