How to Lock Your Coat
🔒 How to Lock Your Coat
At festivals, tons of people nearby are using LED remotes — which means someone else's remote can accidentally change your lights. Locking your coat fixes that.
Once locked, your coat ignores all outside remotes. Only your connected controller or app can change your lights. ✨
💡 Heads up: The Zengge app is a third-party app that controls the LED hardware inside your coat — it's not made by us. We know it's a little clunky! We're working on our own SugarFur DJ app to make controlling your lights way easier and more fun. Stay tuned. 🩷
Step-by-Step
1
Open the Zengge App and tap your connected coat
It's the one glowing in teal and marked “Fixed Mode.” That's your live coat.
2
Press & hold the device, then tap “Device Information”
Press and hold your finger on the connected coat until a menu pops up, then choose Device Information.
3
Under “Device Settings,” tap “2.4G remote control setting”
Scroll down to the Device Settings section and open 2.4G remote control setting.
4
Tap “Don't allow all remote controls”
The blue checkmark moves to it — that's your confirmation. Your coat is now locked. 🔒
💡 Good to know: This only applies to 2.4G remotes (not infrared). Want to unlock later? Come back to this same screen and tap “Open all remote control.”
