SugarFur App Privacy Policy

Team Sugarfur LLC (“SugarFur,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the SugarFur iOS app for controlling compatible SugarFur lighting products.
How the app works
The SugarFur app uses Bluetooth to find, connect to, and control compatible SugarFur lighting products. Bluetooth product names and system-generated identifiers are processed locally on the user’s iPhone to manage active connections.
Data collection
The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. It does not require an account and does not use analytics, advertising, tracking technologies, or remote application servers.
Permissions
The app requests Bluetooth access solely to communicate with compatible SugarFur products. The app does not request location access. Sound-reactive modes use the microphone built into the compatible lighting controller; the app does not access or record audio from the iPhone microphone.
Data storage and retention
SugarFur does not store personal information or Bluetooth product identifiers in a SugarFur database or cloud service.
Email support
If a user contacts us by email, we receive the email address and any information the user voluntarily includes. We use that information only to respond to the request and provide support.
Children’s privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the app’s features or privacy practices change. Any revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
